'I was raised in a small farming community in the Western Districts of Victoria before moving to Melbourne to study Textile Design at RMIT in the early 1980s.

Since 2000 I have gradually transferred my focus from commercial design to the fine arts and whilst the challenges have been enormous, and the results far more difficult to quantify, the rewards and my success to date has been particularly gratifying. '
