Catherine Farren Price

Catherine Farren-Price was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1956. She studied Fine Arts at the AdelaideCollege of the Arts from 1973-1976 and taught art in South Australia until 1983.
In 1984-1986 she studied Theatrical Make-up and Special Effects, working in the film and television industry for 12 years while continuing throughout the years with painting.
Catherine is based in Sydney and has been working for several years as a full time artist. She has won several awards for figurative and still life paintings.
Catherine has become extremely popular. She is in demand by Galleries and for Corporate and private commissions. Catherine is clearly recognised as a quality investment.
Her work has been exhibited at David Driden Gallery (Adelaide), Sir Herman Black Gallery, Sauc Gallery (Sydney), Gullotti Gallery (Perth),

Cathy’s work is not limited to one style, but rather her love for the process of painting is reflected in her unique and diverse ability which includes abstract, contemporary, figurative, fruit & flowers, landscape, still life and traditional.
